I cannot believe that it’s almost June! It seems like yesterday that I was shoveling snow off my front porch. Although I prefer winters, just not icy ones, I am loving being back in the garden. I love lugging around those big bags of mulch and deciding where each plant will thrive the best, part shade or all sun.
In this month’s issue, I would like to conclude the article on “Heart and Mind Functioning in Unity and Wholeness.” In the Guest Blog Spot is Charles Eisenstein, visionary and de-growth activist. I did an interview with Charles last year, and so I am pleased to be able to present some of his writings in this issue. In Science & the Sacred is a Huffington Post article about Bolivia and what I am praying will be a new model for countries: Mother Earth Laws. The section Food & Art features a hot topic for all of us who want to know about the food that we are serving our families: GMO’s. This article from One Green Planet discusses the impact that GMO’s have on the environment. And since we are on the topic of the earth and the environment, in Housing and Living you will find 17 awesome tree houses from around the world, thanks to the web site Bored Panda. I couldn’t possibly suggest a video that was not related to the earth or the environment, so I decided on one of the most popular songs about the earth: Earth Song.
