Waiting on the platform for my train, I spot a woman in front of me with this on the back of her shirt. I asked her if I could please get a photo. Afterwards, I asked if she had designed it for the papal visit. She said, no. It was a recently opened hair salon’s promotional. Come in, get a wash and cut, and get a dope t-shirt.
We are approaching the end of another year. As long as I stay in the moment and connected to who I AM, life unfolds in beautiful synchronicity. Let’s face it. There are a gazillion moving parts that create any and all life experiences, whether walking from the house to the corner store, or preparing a meal. Geez! The relief and the comfort that comes from knowing that it is impossible to control all those moving parts.

Finally, having grown weary of publications like People and Time and their spoon feeding of the most influential, beautiful, most sexy people in the world, I’ve decided that each year I will create my own “influential” list. I suggest that we all do the same and share it with family and friends. I’m reclaiming my mind, purging it of the heroes and heroines of the status quo. I’ve got my own ideas about what constitutes influential and sexy. You’ll see.
